I was born in 1946 in Israel. I have been painting since childhood and in my youth I obsessively drew portraits with graphite pencils and water-based markers. I have always invented my own techniques and today I often incorporate recyclable materials such as cardboard, polystyrene and other items in my works. In 1967 I joined Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak in the Western Negev, where I live and create.
I am an agronomist by profession and from 1992 to 2020 I worked guiding farmers in many countries in the use of products for greenhouse crops. During these years I did not engage in art continuously.
Since 2020, with my retirement, I have spent every day in my studio sculpting and painting with great pleasure. I really love classical sculpture and cherish the great artists from the days of ancient Greece, Rome through the Renaissance. In painting, I am associated with aesthetic art. The technique does not matter as long as it inspires me.
In 1968 I studied painting at the Avni Institute and from 1982 for two years I studied sculpture with Yaakov Epstein at the Bat Yam Art Institute. From 1982 I drew models once a week for ten years at the Kibbutzim Artists’ Workshop.
My love of sculpture and painting led me to combine them and I often “sculp” on paper using cardboard, Styrofoam and sand, thus creating volume for painting. Recently I have harnessed the technology of a 3D printer for my artistic creation.
Pieces that I created in Eilat, after our evacuation to Eilat as a result of the October 7th massacre at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, were shown in the group exhibitions held at the Eilat Art Gallery. That same year I participated in the Paint Me Hope Exhibition at the Teo Art Center in Herzliya. In mid-2024 I exhibited in the exhibition “As One Man in One Heart” at the Artists’ House in Be’er Sheva. And at the end of 2024 I presented in Kiryat Motzkin in the exhibition “Hope and Resurrection” a memory of the 7/10 massacre. At the end of 2024 at the Art Gallery in Tel Aviv I presented in the exhibition “Still Life”.
On July 2025 I participated in a joint-artists exhibiton in Ramat-Aviv, Israel.

נולדתי בשנת 1946 בישראל, אני מצייר מילדות ובנעורי ציירתי באובססיביות פורטרטים בעפרונות גרפיט ובטוש מדולל במים, תמיד המצאתי טכניקות משלי והיום אני מרבה להשתמש בעבודותיי בחומרים ברי מחזור כמו קרטון, קלקר ועוד. בשנת 1967 הצטרפתי לניר יצחק קיבוץ בנגב המערבי ובו אני גר ויוצר.
אני אגרונום במקצועי ומשנת 1992 עד שנת 2020 עבדתי בהדרכת חקלאים במדינות רבות באופן השימוש במוצרים לגידולים בחממה, בשנים האלו לא עסקתי באומנות באופן רציף.
משנת 2020 עם יציאתי לגמלאות אני מבלה יום יום בסטודיו שלי מפסל ומצייר בהנאה גדולה. אני מאד אוהב פיסול קלאסי ומוקיר את האומנים הדגולים מימי יוון העתיקה, רומי דרך הרנסנס, בציור אני נקשר לאומנות אסטטית לא חשובה הטכניקה ובלבד שהיא מרגשת אותי.
בשנת 1968 למדתי ציור במכון אבני ומשנת 1982 במשך שנתיים למדתי פיסול אצל יעקב אפשטיין במכון לאומנות בת-ים. משנת 1982 רשמתי מודלים פעם בשבוע במשך עשר שנים בסדנת אמני הקיבוצים.
אהבתי לפיסול וציור הובילה אותי לחבר ביניהם ואני מרבה “לפסל” על נייר כשאני משתמש בקרטון, קלקר וחול ובכך יוצר נפח לציור. לאחרונה רתמתי את הטכנולוגיה של מדפסת תלת ממד ליצירה האמנותית שלי.
תערוכות קבוצתיות, בסוף שנת 2023 ופעם נוספת בתחילת שנת 2024 הצגתי ב Art gallery Eilat עבודות שיצרתי באילת לאחר שפוניתי אליה בעקבות טבח 7 באוקטובר. באותה שנה הצגתי ב Teo art center Herzliya בתערוכת “צייר לי תקווה”. באמצע 2024 הצגתי בתערוכה ” כאיש אחד בלב אחד” בבית האומנים בבאר שבע. ובשלהי 2024 הצגתי בקרית מוצקין בתערוכה “תקווה ותקומה” זיכרון לטבח 7/10. בסוף שנת 2024 ב Art gallery בתל אביב הצגתי בתערוכה “טבע דומם”.
בחודש יולי 2025 השתתפתי בתערוכה קבוצתית בשם “קו החוף”, בגלריה קניון רמת-אביב.
